Practical Recommendations

Good to know

  • I recommend arriving in loose, comfortable clothing. After your session, your body will feel deeply relaxed and your skin nourished with oil. You don’t want to squeeze back into something tight. Loose clothing allows you to maintain that lovely post-massage state, letting the sense of ease carry you gently through your day.

  • Arriving a bit earlier will help you avoid stress and ensure a calm entrance.

  • Please avoid eating a large meal in the hour or two before your session. A light snack is fine — you'll be more comfortable on the table, and your body will be better able to relax.

  • I accept cash and payment via WhatsApp using Wise. If you have any questions about payment before your visit, just get in touch.

  • I understand that plans sometimes change. Here's what I ask:

    • Cancellations are possible up to 24 hours beforehand. Rescheduling is still possible after this 24-hour window.
    • Rescheduling is possible up to 6 hours before your appointment. Just send me a message and we'll find a new time together.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is my first time, what can I expect?

You'll be warmly welcomed, shown to the studio. We'll take a moment to discuss your treatment, understand your wishes, and answer any questions you may have. There's no rush; you'll have the time to settle in before we begin. After your session, feel free to relax for a while before rejoining the world outside.

Do I need to undress completely?

For most treatments, yes, with the exception of the Indian Head Massage and the back massage. Lying unclothed allows me to work with long, flowing strokes across the whole body. You will always have full privacy to undress at your own pace, and a soft robe is provided upon arrival.

Will I be covered during the massage?

You will be warmly and respectfully draped throughout your session. Only the area being worked on is uncovered at any time.

Does a Lomi Lomi massage include a full body treatment?

Yes, a traditional Lomi Lomi massage includes also abdominal massage and gentle work around the chest area. If any part of the treatment feels uncomfortable, please let me know and we will adjust. Your comfort always comes first.

What about eating before a massage

To get the most out of your treatment, it is best to avoid a heavy meal in the hour before your massage. Lomi Lomi stimulates the body's natural flow and helps clear toxins more efficiently — something that works best on a light stomach. A small snack is perfectly fine, but arriving comfortably light will help you relax more deeply and enjoy every moment on the table.

When is the Hot Summer Treatment available

Only on days above 30°C, Kiki Lavendula offers a specially designed cooling ritual — a shorter, lighter treatment that lets you enjoy true relaxation, safely and comfortably, even in the summer heat.
